My Video Resume

  • What works? What doesn’t work? It would be really good to have a script that includes numbers to make your points stronger.
  • What style could fit my personal resume goals? Match my personality? I would either do projectcase or mix of all of them.
  • What things do I want to make sure to include? Good editing skills.

Tips:

  • Content - keep it short, keep it appropriate, be creative, shining personality, positivity and confidence, have someone to review it.
  • Organisation - decide what format I want to use, narration, interview, project showcase, reel, or mix of all of them. Also, everything should be structured: introduction, qualifications, conclusion.
  • Effects - pop up pictures and some sound effects.
  • Camera angles - in front or a little bit side angle.
  • Video assets - camera is the most obvious and important piece of equipment. Lighting in your video resume should be even and clear. Natural lighting is cheapest and easiest, but it should be soft and look professional. Alternatively, ring lights are relatively inexpensive and provide professional-looking results.
  • Music assets - audio needs to be clear and audible.

Before their rebellion was squashed and their leaders hanged, they literally destroyed some of the mechanized looms that they believed reduced them to cogs in a dehumanizing engine of mass production. In early 1995, Amazon was less than a year old, Apple was in the doldrums, Microsoft had yet to launch Windows 95, and almost no one had a mobile phone. But Sale, who for years had been churning o...
